Our Nottingham showroom is set to open on the 20th August. Nottingham is situated in central England’s Midlands region, on an area of low hills along the lower valley of the River Trent, probably best known for it’s castle, constructed in 1068, and the scene of final showdown between the Sheriff and the hero outlaw in the legends of Robin Hood. Nottingham prosperity was founded on the textile industry and became the centre of the world’s lace making industry. Nottingham was named ‘City of Literature’ by UNESCO in 2015, reflects it literary heritage, with Lord Byron, D. H. Lawrence and Alan Sillitoe having links to the city. It hosts the highest concentration of higher education providers in the East Midlands.
