Growing up with a Caribbean mother who trusted instinct over trends, Natasha learned to experiment freely and follow what felt right. That sense of creative freedom still defines her home today. Art plays a central role, everyday materials are reimagined into functional and decorative installations, and colour is used with flair.
From instinct to intention
When designing her sofa, Natasha was clear about what she wanted - a place to lie down, relax and share with her daughter and their dog. Green was always part of that vision, alongside the elegant simplicity she’s drawn to. Exploring a wide range of greens and different velvets helped shape a sofa that felt entirely her own - “a sofa just for me.”
Natasha’s Heyshott sofa
Natasha chose the Heyshott for its simplicity. The clean lines, single bench cushion and slender arms echo the mid-century furniture she’s always loved. Upholstered in Linwood Omega Emerald velvet, the sofa becomes a confident block of colour - rich, warm and inviting.
The sofa at home
In Natasha’s living room, the sofa is used exactly as she intended - somewhere to relax with her daughter and their dog. The velvet brings warmth and depth of colour, while the refined shape keeps the space feeling calm and balanced. It sits comfortably alongside her art and everyday objects - practical, expressive and unmistakably hers.
