From Sussex woodland to prints for the home

The Woodland collection began with walks through the Sussex landscape and details gathered by eye and camera: fern fronds, oak leaves, acorns, thistles, meadow flowers, clay paths and the traced lines of the land.

These observations became the starting point for a collection of printed fabrics, from botanical forms and trailing stripes to abstract linework and a classic toile. Each design drawn from the character of native woodland, reimagined for the home.

A collection designed to layer

Woodland brings together botanical prints, gently flowing stripes and abstract designs, each printed in a single colour on a natural linen-blend ground.

Varying in scale and detail, the designs are made to build beautifully across a room - from larger-scale prints on sofas and curtains to finer stripes and botanical details on armchairs, cushions and soft furnishings.

Layered and expressive, the collection remains calm, balanced and easy to live with.

Stripes shaped by nature

Woodland’s stripes are drawn from natural forms: fern fronds, oak and hazel leaves.

Frond Stripe Large brings graceful movement to sofas and curtains, while Frond Stripe Small offers a quieter scale for chairs, cushions and smaller pieces. Coppice Stripe has a trailing character, with oak and hazel leaves arranged in a relaxed vertical repeat.

Together, these designs bring direction and balance to the collection, while keeping the feel soft, organic and easy to layer.

Botanical detail and classic print

In the botanical prints, the smaller details of woodland come forward: thistle heads, oak leaves, acorns, meadow flowers and the stems and blooms gathered from the landscape.

Globe Thistle is richly layered and painterly, while Woodland Flora feels lighter and more open. Acorn Sprig brings oak leaves and acorns into a relaxed, free-flowing pattern.

Woodland Toile takes a decorative route, unfolding across the cloth in a rural scene of tree-lined paths, grazing horses and glimpses of woodland life. Classic in character but calm in its single-colour treatment, it brings a heritage, story-led feel to upholstery, cushions and soft furnishings.

Drawn from the landscape

Alongside the botanical prints and stripes, Woodland includes two more abstract designs that look to the landscape itself.

Contour Lines is inspired by the mapped lines of the land, with softly undulating stripes that bring movement and a more contemporary feel to upholstery. Summer Clay takes its cue from the cracked surface of sun-dried earth, creating a subtle, textural pattern with gentle variation.

These designs bring depth to the collection. Used on larger pieces, they offer a more contemporary expression of pattern, while pairing easily with the florals, toile and stripes.
