A fabric house steeped in history
Just like our sofa and bed silhouettes, Romo takes inspiration from classic, quintessentially British styles.
Romo was founded in 1902 in Nottinghamshire by Robert Mould and today is a fifth-generation family-run fabric house. Beginning as a small-scale furniture manufacturer, the group now has six established furnishing fabric brands. Each has its own unique character, but all promise the same design-led innovation, artistry and fine craftsmanship.
The beauty of choice in Romo fabrics
Romo is renowned for its assorted library of classic and contemporary designs in addition to plains, enriched with a sophisticated colour palette - from oranges, corals and cobalts to neutral tones. Choosing the right combination of sofa and Romo fabric is choosing comfort and beauty to your home.
Their versatile textiles include the beloved Linara fabrics, a perennial favourite of our customers. This compelling collection of cotton-linen-blend plains spans over 360 shades, encouraging true self-expression. Romo upholstery is perfect for both everyday use and special settings - the epitome of versatility for the diverse homes and architectural styles seen across Britain.
Romo sofa fabrics
We have a curated selection of Romo fabrics in our library, each bringing its own charm to our handcrafted furniture. Explore Villa Nova fabrics with their wonderful plains sitting alongside eastern-inspired weaves, loved by our design consultants for their fresh, clean and homely designs. Pretty Japanese cherry blossoms blended with creams, soft blues and warm greys are contrasted with pops of rusty oranges and indulgent purples.
Mark Alexander’s fabric book is plush and tactile, where texture is king and soft colours reign. Mohair velvets are mixed with stunning sheers, and lambswool with linen, for an opulent, luxurious look. Romo’s Black Edition will release your inner creative with large-scale, hand-painted designs straight from the artist’s studio.
