Sofas and Stuff

Every detail in our home tells the story of who we are - a bold fabric, a rug from our travels, cherished books and trinkets. The more personal these details, the stronger our story.

At Sofas & Stuff, we’re inspired by those who dare to make their homes their own. From the eccentric to the considered, we celebrate the unique choices that make each space one-of-a-kind.

In Uncommon Threads, we invite you to explore the homes of three extraordinary families, each with a distinct approach to style and the personal touches that make their spaces truly theirs. From fabric choices to family memories, their homes reflect who they are and how they live. Through their personal stories, we’ll reveal the uncommon threads that define their lives and their style.

This is a celebration of individuality and an invitation to bring your own personality into your home.

Milli Proust

These three fascinating individuals have each collaborated with us to create a bespoke sofa that reflects their unique style and home. For each of them, the sofa isn’t just a piece of furniture – it’s a central part of their everyday life, a place to gather, connect, and unwind. Through this collaboration, we explore how their personal style is woven into every detail, from fabric choices to design elements, making their sofas a true reflection of who they are and how they live.

Milli Proust

Milli’s 17th-century cottage in Sussex, shared with her partner, their young son and two dogs, is a home full of character, deeply rooted in both history and nature. Nothing is straight, and every corner has its own quirks - a timeless charm that brings a real connection with the past.

Surrounded by woods and fields, Milli’s interiors echo the rhythm of her surroundings, filled with layers of texture, pattern, and natural elements that seamlessly bring the outside in. For Milli, home is a creative canvas where beauty meets practicality and every detail invites a sense of comfort and connection.

“I like to play with layers of textures and patterns. It’s like making one of my flower arrangements.”

Rohan Heath and Lou Rhodes

For musician Rohan Heath and singer-songwriter Lou Rhodes, home is more than a place - it’s an evolving expression of their lives together. Located in a 19th-century townhouse in Hampstead, their space reflects a quiet balance of contrasts: vintage finds paired with contemporary pieces bring an eclectic charm that feels entirely their own.

Their creative synergy is at the heart of their home, with layers of personality and texture that make it both elegant and lived-in, all enriched by the history and character of the Georgian building.

“The patina of an old house, the marks on a wooden table, the depth of a natural fabric… We love that feeling of many lives.”
